In June of 2017 Amy Brumley whelped her first litter of Corso puppies.  Tracy Hyden knew Amy through a rescue they both volunteered for and mutual friends.  She followed the litter on social media.  When the litter was just a couple weeks old, Tracy sadly lost her beloved dog to a fatal rattle snake bite.  Her husband encouraged her to get a new puppy to help through her grief.

Tracy reached out to Amy who was happy to invite her over to meet the litter, sire and dam.  Ultimately, Amy sold a male puppy to Tracy and the 2 decided to learn how to show dogs together.

With their litter mate males, Amy and Tracy started showing in AKC beginner puppy classes.  They made a few new friends and a ton of mistakes.  It wasn't long before they decided they wanted a female to show.

After a few months of research and interviewing breeders they found a puppy to co-own.  Shortly thereafter, Amy produced her 2nd litter, Amy kept the runt of the litter and Tracy kept a female.

When they realized showing dogs was more than just a hobby - they decided a kennel name was in order.  Both Texans through and through (though Tracy is a transplant) they wanted their name to reflect their great state and the amazing friendship that had been formed through dogs and competition.  Amici Dal Texas translates from Italian to Friends in Texas.

In 2019 Selena Stubbs unwittingly became a member of ADT even though she lives in AZ.  Interested in a future puppy she reached out to Amy and Tracy.  While she originally contacted them about a future Ryker puppy - it was a Bellum puppy that helped mend her heart after the loss of her first CC.

Selena hit the ground running with Mittee, quickly racking up performance titles.  A year later, Tracy asked Selena if she'd like to co-own her pick puppy from Ryker's litter.  She agreed and has owner/handled her to her AKC Grand Champion and many performance titles.

Over the years, Amy, Tracy and now Selena have continued to show and compete in performance sports.  They are active members in the Cane Corso Association of America and all take mentoring new owners in the breed very seriously.

Our goal is to produce healthy, correct dogs with sound temperaments.

Through extensive pedigree research, orthopedic and genetic health testing we strive to always produce better.

At ADT Cane Corso, we continue to care about our animals long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals; we will never sell to pet shops or brokers. To make sure our animals get the forever home they deserve, we carefully interview all potential owners. Contact us to find out more about the process or to get on our waiting list.
